I recently bought a Peavy 6505+ that was converted from a 1x12 into a 60watt amplifier head.

The tracks above are a demo recorded through a Marshall MG412 with a SM Beta 57 and DRI100 using the "Friedman Mic' Technique". The amp was demoed with a Shecter Hellraiser C8 on the lead channel with a TC Dark Matter as a boost pedal. The lead track also uses a built-in reverb from the amp as that feature only exists on the 60watt combo of this amplifier.

There was no post-processing on the guitar track past a light high pass, light low-pass, and compressor just to clean up harsh frequencies.

Drums are GetGoodDrums samples and Bass was DI into the mixer.
